Founded in 1651, the County of Gloucester is rich in agricultural history.  Early settlers to the area brought daffodils from England, and soil and weather conditions favored the growth of this industry.  Today the County is known as the “Daffodil Capital of America” and hosts an annual daffodil festival.  With significant population growth in recent years, the County has also become an important commercial center for the area.

The County, which serves a population of 37,000 with an annual budget of $60M, has purchased the Questica Budget suite of products to integrate with their Superion financial system (formerly SunGard Finance Plus).

Questica Budget Operating, Salaries, Capital, and Performance will provide the County with the tools necessary to develop and track program based budgets that are measurable and can be linked to long-term strategic initiatives.

Questica OpenBook will improve transparency for internal stakeholders and the public by presenting financial and non-financial data with descriptive text, informational pop-ups, charts, and graphs, making it easier for everyone to find the right information faster.
