California State University, Long Beach chooses Questica for improved budget workflows, reporting


More than 39,400 students and 5,000 employees characterize California State University, Long Beach — offering students access to eight different academic colleges. Their 322-acre institution represents the third-largest of 23 California State University campuses, together comprising the nation’s largest four-year university.


As Questica’s largest US-based higher education customer, California State University at Long Beach sought a budgeting system that could make personnel planning, reporting, and position management simple to manage.


CSU Long Beach will integrate their ERP, Peoplesoft, with the entire Questica Budget suite, including OpenBook, Questica’s transparency visualization tool to share financial data with the campus community.


California State University, Long Beach joins eleven other CSU institutions in deploying Questica Budget software to develop and maintain their operating and personnel budgets, multi-year forecasts, and scenario planning.
