London District Catholic School Board centralizes, automates finances through Questica Budget

Questica

As the London District Catholic School Board grew beyond 20,000 students and fifty total elementary and secondary schools, its mission remained the same: to serve students through excellence in Catholic education. Inspired by faith, students learn and serve together across London, St. Thomas, Strathroy, and Woodstock.

To better serve both the expanding student body and the district’s approximately 3,000 employees, the London District Catholic School Board aims to migrate away from Excel-based budgeting and toward improved budgeting. They’re looking to create a centralized, automated budget process, where budget and finance team members can access information in real time via the cloud.

The London District Catholic School Board will partner with Questica Budget to organize operating expenses, facilitate change requests, and streamline personnel salary calculations — without the need for manual data entry. Questica’s Operating and Personnel modules will help manage more than $296,000,000 in annual operating expenses.

Questica has focused on providing budgeting and forecasting software exclusively to the public sector for nearly 25 years. Questica is a full-service partner, where in-house staff are responsible for software development, implementation, training, and post-implementation customer care.

Customers include Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools, Horizon School Division, and Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools.

The London District Catholic School Board will depend on the Questica Budget platform to streamline calculations and replace multiple spreadsheets with a single, automated solution.
